Installing and running an application as a service has many benefits. For example, the ability to run when no one is logged in, the ability to run as a specific local or domain user and to run for specific periods during the day, week or month. FireDaemon makes it easy to configure your application as a service. Use the GUI or setup the installation via the command line (using XML configuration files). FireDaemon features a low memory overhead, negligable CPU consumption, subprocess prioritisation and CPU binding, custom environments, scheduling, auto-popup closing, plus process monitoring (via watchdog) and logging to the event log and on-disk log files."
